Today I would like to share a tea towel I embellished with some CTMH products.

Super duper easy gift idea. I used the Sparkle & Shine Textiles, Ruby Chevron Ribbon, and the Base & Bling Floral Accents.

First I cut a 3" x 1Ribbonece from each of the fabrics. There is enough To make 8 of these cute towels. I folded each piece in half lengthways,  I stiched along the top of each one! Gathered I it and then stiched Iit to the towel. Then I aadded the chevron ribbon at the top to cover all my seams. Stiched a Floral Accent By hand, and It was finished

Easy peasy, and so much more economical than buying them from that cute trendy store at the mall. I can make 8 for what they charge for one.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post today., I am sorry for being so late getting it posted.

Today I am sharing a layout I made with our Workshops on the Go Frosted Scrpabooking Kit. I just love the soft colors and snowflakes in this paper.

I choose to use red accents in the place of the blush cardstock included with the kit because I really wanted to bring out the red of my neices and nephews clothing.

I mounted their picture on colonial white cardstock and then used our Red Shimmer Trim around the first matt for some extra shine. This trim is so easy to use as it is adhesive backed and looks great. I cut these snowflakes out of our Glitter paper and used them as a border on the edge of the picture. Then I stamped "You melt my HEART" with our Cranberry Exclusive Inks.

I stamped this sentiment onto the Frosted Grey cardstock with our White Daisy Exclusive Ink, and then embellished with our Sparkle Florishes that were included in my kit. I used the Red Base & Bling Jewels to accent the middle of the large snowflakes. 

I punched these scalloped circles from the coordinating paper in the kit and then stamped each of the kids initial with our Whisper ink and then used the Slate ink to stamp the wreath around each one. I again used the Red Shimmer Trim but this time I used it as a ribbon and left part of the backing on it so that I would have some more demention on my page.

This Month I created a Thanksgiving banner with the Huntington Collection from Close To MY Heartt.

 

My banner says THANKFUL, so that I can keep it up all fall to remind us to be thankful for all that we have.

   

I really enjoyed making this banner and making so many of my own embellisments. Close To My Heart has such wonderful products and their colors are so well designed to work together that it is easy to make extra stuff in addition to the wonderful products that are part of the collection.

I stamped the flowers with our Exclusive ink pads and then used Our Markers to add some depth the color giving them a little of the Ombre look that is so popular right now.

 

     

The Banner was strung together with the burlap ribbon to give it a very earthy fall look. It was so easy I just folded it over and stapled and or glued the pieces in. Very easy and quick and I love the look.

More stamping with Happy Autumn D1550, The letters I used were from the Canvas Alphabet Z1777 and I used the Burlap Ribbon Z1760 across the top to string it all together. I glued some and stapled some.

The canvas embellishment is from the Huntington Assortment Z1881 the other embellishment I made from a 1inch strip of paper that I scored and folded then topped with a button sticker from the Huntington My Stickease Assortment X7174C

I stamped this embellishment with the Happy Autumn stamp set D1550, I stamped with the exclusive Stamp Pads and then used our Markers to add more depth to the image.
